I recently purchased the Cyber system to work with my Alien Bees. I have used the system successfully for a few weeks. Today the Cyber Commander flashed "Low Battery" and would not let me toggle a refresh. I assumed the message referred to the Cyber Commander's OWN batteries, so I replaced them. However I still get the warning. Does it mean that the batteries need replacing in one or more of the Cyber Sync units? If so, how do I know which one?

Oops, I BOUGHT the new batteries, but I did not actually replace the old ones with the new ones. Now it's working just fine.

Since you asked, sort of, how to tell when the receiver batteries are low; the receiver's LED will blink red once in response to a trigger command (either the CC, CST, or its own test button) if the battery is good. The LED will blink multiple times in response to a trigger command when the battery is low.

You would not be able to tell via the CC directly.
