I've bought some used Ultra 1200 that have the banana plug type flash tube.
I would like to order some spare tubes. However I do not know if the one I have already are UV coated or not. How can I check which model I have?

In the long run I would like to have all my tubes UV coated, but will a mismatch between the UV and non UV coated tubes will bring an important color cast?

They were originally shipped with non coated tubes. If you lay them on a piece of white paper, you can clearly see a yellow cast if they are UV coated. The Ultra UV coated tubes are 5200K balanced, while the not coated ones are 5600K. If mixed, 5600K would yield a bluer cast than 5200K.

All current Buff tubes for WLX. AB, Zeus and Einstein are UV coated and are 5600°K and match older non UV tubes that were also 5600°K.
