How do I tighten the Stand Mount? I am able to turn the lever all the way around and I cannot keep the light from slowly sagging down during a shoot. TIA

Michelle

This might be a silly question, but have you made sure your light is all the way on the stand? The reason why I'm asking is because mine weren't, and it caused the light to lower as well.

AB800.

Yes it is on all the way. The knob to tighten it is loose. It spins completely around.

Just to clarify, are you talking about the longer lever handle that adjusts the tilt of the light? If so, it tightens clockwise, and loosens counter clockwise. If you hit the housing of the light before it tightens fully, pull out on the handle (perpendicular to the flash). This disengages the ratchet mechanism, and allows you to reposition the handle, neither tightening or loosening. Once repositined, let the handle reseat, then continue tightening.
