I am in the planning stage of buying a Zeus 2500, one Z2500SH head, and an X1600 and I'm trying to figure out how this will all fit into a case. My question is; how easily does the handle on the Zeus remove? That 1.5" might make a difference.

The handle is part of the case lid. This is not designed to be removed, however, if done would expose the top panel of the pack.
