I have had the CC for a while now and had no problems with it, but every since the firmware upgrade it has not. Upgrade went smoothly and the unit now shows it is FW 29, everything on the unit itself seems to work just fine. The problem is it wont trigger the CSRB+s at all. In fact if I turn on the CC and try and test the lights, it causes all of the +'s to no longer work, even with the normal trigger (have to remove the batteries to reset the +'s in order to get them to work with the normal trigger again). I have tried the CC and +'s on every freq and channel.
I have called in twice now, first time got run around about it being the micro SD card and was asked to remove it and test it (so I removed it and tested it again, same problem) and the 2nd time was told they unit wont work without a card in it and I needed to go buy a new card for it (which I had a few for my cell phone so i used both of them) and so far nothing works.
Thinking I was doing something wrong, I let one of my photog friends try it out and I took hers for a weekend (hers was upgraded to 29 also). I had no problems with hers, she could not get mine to work, which pretty much proves its the unit itself, not anything else. The CC has fresh batteries also.
Sooooo, whatcha think? Maybe I changed a setting or maybe the firmware just doesn't like me.
Also should be noted the battery cover tab on my CC was broken when I got it in the mail, didn't bother me much though, just slapped a piece of tape on it and it worked for months. Doubt that has anything to do with it, but just want to give as much info as I can!
