Do you have pics of the newer PLMs? Was wondering about what the changes you've made look like. Am I understanding correctly that there is a new mount for these, as in not using the umbrella holder on the strobe?

At a guess, the new mount would be very similar (if not identical) to the Retro Laser mount.

I too can't wait to see what the plm2 looks like. I'll be excited when my pre-order ships.
