I believe the price difference is $20 per CSRB+. While you won't be able to remotely adjust your brand X flash units, you will still be able to group them, individually fire and meter them, name them (Main Light, Fill 1, etc). Personally I wouldn't bother with the CC without the CSRB+ units - just use a $59 CST instead.

Thanks Oh Mighty Leader....

The prices are $US69.95 and $US89.95, indeed a $20 difference, but "Downunder" the prices are $AU123.20 and $154.00 ($30.80) and the AC powered ones are not available at all !!

On a not totally unrelated note, I noticed that today Phottix released their "Pocket-Wizard-Killer" (and compatible) remotes ($AU125.18), from all pre-release reports better range then the PW's.

I also saw that LPA has an Einstein-compatible module in the works, but that one won't be available for several months whereas hopefully my Einsteins won't be much more then a month or so away, so now I'm asking myself do I go for the PCB remotes or the Phottix...For the same price for "non +" versions ???

AB.

Whatever "Phottix" is it can't possibly do what the proprietary Cyber Commander/Einstein combination does. If you have a link for the latest and greatest PW killer, please post it.

Thanks PE...Yes those were the ones I was referring to.

A direct competitor for the PW Plus II units.

None of the bells and whistles of the MultiMax / Flex TT5 / Mini TT1 or the upcoming Einstein-compatible units, just, from all reports, a very good trigger with a couple of extra features compared to the PW Plus II units at a much cheaper price-point.
