also make sure any slave modes are turned off. Just regular plain ol' manual mode.

I don't have any batteries in the house, and it isn't worth a trip out. I am using rechargable, Engergizers to be specific.

I will try to get some tomorrow and test it out.

What model of hot shoe adapter are you using. Mine (model 0126) don't have a test button.

I am using the following adapter, I think. The picture looks like it at least. I know it is Flash Zebra, just not sure the actual adapter.

So I tested with completely charged batteries. It would fire occasionally but not consistently. I think that it is the batteries. Someone mentioned that they have had troubles with rechargable batteries that wouldn't work in some units. I think that the batteries don't put out enough voltage to fill the capacitor to it's peak. I don't really know how to discribe it, but when it charges, the noise it makes never seems to get all the way there.

I am going to pick up some standard alkaline batteries, and test then. I will keep you posted.
