Not sure what your equivalent is in the USA, but here we have "$2.00 Stores" that are filled with crap / junk / rubbish and sh!t from China.

What they DO have however, is very cheap CD holders.

Sort of a (not) canvas / nylon covered item with a zip that goes around three sides and holds around a dozen CD's (or the double-tall ones that hold twice that number)

I have quite a few of them that I use for my bits-and-pieces.

I have just put a small piece of foam in most of them and then the items just sit on (in) the foam.

I used a white marker to write on the spine of them what they contain.

Aha! Now this is a good idea! Something like this might just do the trick:

Hadn't thought of using a CD case. Thanks, AB

That's just exactly like what I use, the one you linked to had "solid plastic" sides, I have only one of those, I'm in two minds as to which I prefer, those or the canvas/nylon type, but I think I do prefer the canvas/nylon type, but that may just be because I have more of them !!

Just rip the internal CD holders out and "Robert's your mothers brother".

I keep my PWs in Zing Bags--roughly 5x9 and padded. I don't know if these are still made. You could also try plastic containers such as Rubbermaid, Tupperware, boxes made for screws, tools etc which can be found at the Container Store, Target, hardware stores, etc. If they need to be padded, get a piece of dense foam and cut a slice into it if your hardware accessories are small enough, or you can do a cut out for them.
