Cyber commander really rocks, I love this thing. I have 2 WLs and one AB400 for background/hair lights. The WLs internal fan kicks in only when it's hot, but the AB400 is always on. When I put these strobes in Standby mode, the WLs are quiet, only the dump red lights appear. The AB400, however still has the fan running. I dont really like grabbing the step ladder to power it off - the question is in the long run, would it kill the fan's life? I've thought of buying the WL800 to replace it, but that's kind of overkill for that purpose, and requires burning my wallet.

CC can't actually power AB/WL/Zeus OFF - it just disables flash and model. With Einstein it actually shuts it OFF (Standby - like a TV, so CC can turn it back on.)
