I am looking to buy a cybercommander to sync with the Einstein lights once they become available. I was wondering if the 1/4000 sec delay on triggering the flash is consistent shot to shot? The question I ask is because I am planning to so some very precise hi speed photography that will trigger based on a sensor (on sensor detection, the shtuters on a few cameras open, then after waiting a specified amount of time in milliseconds, fires the flash).

The delay is fixed and doesn't change. The CST has more transmission range because the antenna is extended away from the body. If you use the repeater function on CSR/B the delay will increase to 1/2000.
