Any word on the status of the new batch of Beauty Dishes? (The white ones in particular)

Man, we sound like a bunch of whiners around here! I'm just anxious for all this cool new stuff.

The white ones just arrived and should be shipping in the next day or two. I believe we have stock of white and silver. Either is $74.95 including diffusion sock and moveable light blocker.

Any chance you will be releasing a carrying bag for the Beauty Dish? Would certainly be nice to have something!

I'll be doing mostly portraits in a small studio with B800's. Will the silver be too much? Will I have to really power down? Should I stick with white?

Were it me I would use the silver and put the sock on it for close work and elave the sock off for outdoor sun-fighting. With the sock it's really even and the output drops about 2 f stops.
