Paul,

You mentioned in our pre-order thread that the ABMax folks are at the top of the list. Can you give us an idea how many units that equates to so we can get an idea of how far down the list we are?

Thanks
Russell

At first quick check there are about 600 on the AB Max list. We expect some of these may fall off the list because of the time involved.

Thanks Paul.

That gives me some idea :)

By the way, I sure hope you are not using an TI parts in the Einstein. Their world wide part shortage is killing everyone!

Not many, if any TI-specific parts. Worldwide lead times on many parts from all manufacturers are growing and we are busy cross referencing many parts, even redrafting in a couple of cases. Some have 20 week lead times right now. We have most in stock and are working hard to avoid any delays from lead times.

Paul,

What time (EST) was the website updated to allow pre-ordering? That should give everyone a good idea where they stand in the queue.

Dom

Better question is how many Einsteins do you expect to have available on the first round??

Dom,

Look for my post below where I posted I put in my pre-order. The website went live within an 2 hours of that post because:
1. I had checked the site within 2 hours prior
2. I posted on these forums as soon as I ordered

Edit: Thur Jan 7th ~3:30pm PST is when I posted, so the site went live within 2 hours of that.

That should be about 30 min of when it went up. I believe it was between 5:00 and 5:30 CT, 6:00 and 6:30 ET.
