Just received my V II. The green light, next to the charge in receptacle, is on. Is this normal. When I plug the charger in it goes to red and there is a somewhat loud buzzing sound.

Thanks

Just trying to find out if the green light should stay on. Seems like it would draw on the battery.

Anyone else have a Vagabond II? Does your green light stay on when not charging?

Thanks for any input.

As they say: RTFM :) This is documented in the manual that comes with the Vagabond II.

Yes it does stay on when not charging. Yes it does draw from the battery, but it is an LED and is drawing a very small amount of power.

The loud buzzing sound when plugged in is NOT a normal condition for my unit.

 Thanks for the reply. I guess skim reading isn't my forte.

The buzzing sound is quieter now that it's fully charged, but I'm still not sure if it's normal.

The green light is normal. This tells you the battery has a charge and is connected (and the fuses are good). The sound you hear is normal, particularly when under load, either charging or in use. Older Vagabonds will not exhibit this behavior. This is due to some alterations in design.
