I was wondering what is the longest length of extension cord that would be safe for the Alien Bees? Could I chain together 3 - 100ft 14 gauge extension cords(300 ft total) if I need to?

300' with 14ga. will be fine, but you may experience a slighly longer recycle time. Also avoid rapid firing the lights, as that can generate heat in the cords at those lengths.

Thank you for the information. That is exactly what I needed to know.

TS is basically correct. But any heat generated in the cord is distributed along the 300' length so is of no consequence. As for recycle time, the difference would be so small I don't think you would be able to measure it.
