I love my AB gear....During NY fashion week I flew out to NY with an AB 800, octobox, and a vagabond 2....imagine the look on my face as TSA was looking through my gear....well, It was the worst damn blizzard ever and all the flights got cancelled....well, i got on the first plane that Virgin let go to NY...here's vid from that on ABC

Well, I arrived at NY and it was 28 degrees, my gear was in disorder from TSA and when I got to the hotel.......my gear was working perfectly. I had to take some shots of clothing for the clothing company I was shooting for. Right after NY Fashion week, had to fly with the gear to Vegas for the Magic/Project garment show....and the gear got beat up again by TSA. I gotta tell you.....this gear takes a beating and keep on ticking.

Im sooo glad to be home in better weather......just shot this right after a brief sprinkle

So, it was YOU!!! She came to my door without the robe, and asked for a cup of flour. Of course, I gave her the cup of flour, and I loaned her my robe because it was so cold out (I would have photographed it for posterity, but with the cold weather and all, I forgot that there were 14 cameras within a fifteen foot radius of my front door. You understand). Anyway, she never brought the robe back. Do you have it?

Oh, wait a second... You mentioned that you shot that pic in Vegas AFTER you left NYC. It's probably a simple case of mistaken identity...

Just kidding. I'm glad you and your gear survived the big snow unscathed. I'm located about 25 miles away from NYC in Central Jersey, and it was the most snow I have seen in the area since March of 2003. Here is a link to a shot from the entrance to my building taken about halfway into the storm. Lots of fun...

And fresh snowfall does have a soft quality on birch branches that fades nearly as soon as the storm ends,

But apparently it is not nearly as soft a quality as that which awaits a lens in Vegas after escaping an east coast snowstorm.....

Very nice!
