About a week ago I got a trigger and receiver set. I use the trigger on my D300 and the receiver is hooked up to my sb-900. Ive been having a few problems on and off over the past week where I will get a black screen every once in a while or the flash will not trigger at all. Ive tried changing the frequency a few times and it seems to not make a difference. Is there a problem with my cybersyncs?

Is this immediately following a break in shooting? If so, it is likely the sleep timer on the flash. After a break, the first signal will wake the flash back up, then it will work successfully after that. Turning the sleep mode to a longer setting or off alltogether usually solves the issue.

Also double check the sync cords to ensure they are snug, and do not have a short.
