I'm having a problem with my CyberSync hot shoe transmitter. Seems like there's some kind of a short or something and it just starts rapidly firing. If I fiddle with it for a while it will stop but sometimes just touching it the wrong way will cause it to start again. Does anyone know if a low battery might cause this? I've had it about a year and have maybe only used it for 20-25 shoots. Any other ideas on what I could try to make it stop without ripping it apart?

Yes, a low battery can cause this. press the test button and see if its LED blinks. Muliple blinks or no blinks are indicators of a dead/dying battery

Thanks - I'll replace the battery and see if that helps. Any idea if I can get a replacement battery at some place like Radio Shack?

Radio Shack should have them, as well, Walgreens is a good source, too.

Forgot to post back. New battery did the trick. Works just like new. Thanks so much.
