Hello Everyone,

I'm in the market of getting a new light system, 4 einsteins and an assortment of modifiers. I am trying to figure out what my transport situation should be. When i'm not using the lights I really want them to be protected in every way possible. I will be traveling with the setup. I have a pelican case for my laptop but trying to see if a big Pelican case would be the best system for my lights. I do take $$$ into the equation but if I don't have any other options then Pelican it shall be. Any help and input would be great.

Thanks All

Thanks Chico,

Could you elaborate a little more on what case that is?

How and why did you go with that case.

If you were to buy again would you get the same case again?

Thanks again Chico

[quote="stonehill"]Thanks Chico,

It's the Pelican 1650

How and why did you go with that case.
Investment= Your own equipment and protect it as much as possible. Besides, Pelican has a great reputation with Photographers/Cinemagraphers all over the world.

If you were to buy again would you get the same case again? Yes I would, no ?.

Good luck with your case, Please let us know how it comes out. Happy Scouting 8-)

I get 2 Einsteins and 2 VML's in a Pelican 1510. It fell off the back of a pickup at 30 mph, and although the case got scratched up, the contents went unscathed.

Is that 1650 holding 8 einstiens? Plenty of room in that model? I have 3 that I want to put in that case, but felt it might not fit, but that is a 1650 right?
Thanks

Chris

you fit 8 Einsteins in a Pelican 1650? Stupid question, but the lid closes? enough padding on all sides that you would check that at the airport for the belly of the plane?
