Just saw PowerGenix AAs reviewed on Tom's Hardware:
http://www.tomsguide.com/us/rechargeable-batteries-cell,review-1525-3.htmlThe AA batteries reviewed were a little thicker than normal, and availability is only now being ramped up.
But we need AAAs, and although PowerGenix chargers are designed for NiZn AAs AND AAAs, no AAAs are available yet. I have emailed PowerGenix at
info@PowerGenix.com /
http://www.powergenix.com/contact.php, sent the link to CyberCommander, and asked for AAAs. I suggest we all do the same, so as to ensure / speed up availability of these AAAs.
(conversely it'd be great if a future version of CyberCommander was able to take either 2, or failing that 3, 1.2V AAs, or perhaps even some compact digital camera LiIon battery (Panasonic, for instance, has a history of sticking with the same battery and charger over many generations of cameras - an important feature given LiIons age even without use (unless stored in a fridge))
