I was looing at the color display of one of my Einstein 640s yesterday and noticed it was crooked. Then I checked the other one and it is as well. They don't stay that way though. They seem to be only anchored at the bottom allowing them to swing back and forth.

Is this some design feature I was not aware of? :o

No. The screens should stay in place. These should be sent in for repair.

I would suggest sending the unit in for service.
