I am contemplating buying a few Alien Bee 800s. But I need to know if my Phottix Atlas II triggers will work with these lights......? Anyone know? I think they will but I need to be sure.
Also, are the 800's powerful to shoot outside? I am not trying to overpower the sun....but it would be cool if I could!

We are not aware of any remotes that will not work (assuming they are working units and not broken). Phottixes (Phottixi?) should work fine. The only caveat is you will probably need a mono cord, as a stereo cord may not make the proper contacts in. Our CSSC should work fine. http://www.paulcbuff.com/cssc.php
