Post subject:  Einstein UV light emission

On the listings for replacement bulbs, I saw that the Alien Bee flash tubes have a UV coating and the Einstein bulbs do not, instead using the frosted dome to block UV emissions.

Has anyone measured the amount of UV light produced by the Einsteins without the frosted dome in place? I was curious if these could be used with a UV pass through filter to basically take the place of a blacklight. I see Broncolor makes an attachment for some of their strobes that does this...it just happens to cost $1500...

Both the AWFT14MMUV and the MAXFT12MMUV are shown as UV coated (3rd bullet point on each). Also, the UV in the name indicates the tube is UV coated.

I would not imagine much usable UV light to come from the UV coated tubes.
