I understand the need to use modeling lights briefly when using Vagabond Power units. Is it safe to use CLF bulbs with a 60w equivalent that only draw 14 watts which would also be used briefly? I am using White Lighting units.

You should not use CFL's in our lights as the balast in them can cause undesired side effects.

However, you can use LED bulbs, like the GE Energy Smart bulbs. Also, they are dimmable, though not necessarily accurate.
