I am sorry to post this topic, I searched and didn't seem to find what I am experience.

I am hoping someones expertise can explain to me what the problem is.

**Before I explain my issue I just want to warn the readers that I am not as proficient as many of you. Should you have an opinion of my issue and my personal expertise, I kindly ask it to be appropriate since I am only learning.

The battery of my CC became low, I replaced them as anyone would.. Once powered on, it was working just fine. After several times of using the Einstein and CC together, the CC started to fire shots without m permission (i wasn't firing with my camera). I never saved any groups or custom settings as I do not operate with the same set up. This was okay for a second but it became too frequent..

Now the real issue became apparent...

I started the CC up and the independent channel meters were all "out of whack". Some being down to "0" and some being to the maximum.. I never set it like that before. I would try to click over to the channels to adjust the levels of the light power and found that they were stuck.. the numbers would just flicker but wouldn't actually increase or decrease. This was a problem..

Lastly, at the bottom of the screen of the CC there was this alien-like code that seems like would be a C++ script.. I can't post a photo of it because I took one.. but I will try to replicate what I read at the bottom left of the screen...

example: in blue writing above Ch 01 and Power it states something like: /\$a8w/\F1 -this is the best I can do, it obviously seems odd and wrong to me... Any help or opinion on how to get this to a factory setting would be most appreciative. I just need to know if i need to send it back for repair and inspection. Thank you!

-Ryan

Hey Ryan,
We have your email and are compiling a response. Fortunately, it will be a pretty easy fix on your end, however, we do need to compose the email with clear instructions, so that can take a little bit.

You should have a response this afternoon.

I just saw this yesterday after receiving the unit and playing with it for a day. It seemed to clear up
after I replaced the batteries. It seemed that I had pre set up units with having CSRB's attached and
that screwed things up. Seems to be working now except that the blue power level in the bar seems
rather gray, but I can't attest if it was much bluer when I first got it.

The color would not change on usage. You may see variations in color between units of different vintage, as the LCD screens change over the product life. While they are functionally the same, color can render differently among lots. As long as the vertical bar is filled, that is what we refer to as a blue bar, even if it may appear as a blue-gray. If the bar is just an outline, then the power is either all the way down, or that receiver is set to standby.
