i don't use the cyber on a hotshoe. i'm only triggering via joystick. I think the problem is the switches. I just sent on of my cybers back for a refurb because the battery clip came unsoldered and the trigger switch was intermittent. They re-soldered the clip, flashed the firmware and said everything else checked out fine. Yet, it's still as intermittent as ever. Sometimes when it just refuses to trigger I have to go back to the setup screen, toggle the light's power off and on to get them to talk again.
Don't know if that's a problem with the light, the receiver or transmitter but it's not comforting!
And happens on both my cybers (even the new one) and in multiple locations.
