I just bought my first Paul C Buff Einstein. I am coming from the speedlite world where I was able to do High Speed Sync with my Pocket Wizard Plus and Mini. Can I still utilize the HSS with this Einstein or am I stuck at shooting at a maximum of 1/160th on my 5DMII to avoid the black bars. Studio strobes seem a little confusing to me so please bare with me on this topic.
Thanks!

At this time, no monolight offers true TTL function as it would in a speedlight, including Einstein. Anytime you exceed your x-sync, you lose flash efficiency, as no part of the image is receiving the full amount of light.

Einstein relies on faster flash duration to freeze action, usually better than your camera can when using shutter speed. By staying at or below x-sync speed, you will also retain flash efficiency, as all parts of the image will receive all of the light emitted by the flash.
