Been charging my new VB II for about 12 hours, the green light is solid and red as well.

I've been reading that the hum/squeal sounds disappears when fully charge. It's been 12 hours and it still hums/squeals with solid green light.

How do I tell if it's fully charged? This normal?

The instructions say an intitial charge of 12 to 24 hours is needed. Then after that, after every use, charge it so green light comes on and then another additional 5 hours for full charge. The hum will go away after awhile. The red light always stays on when the charger is plugged in.

Hmm it's been 12 hours for the initial charge to go to green+red on then 5 more hours the red went off and green stays on and now 15 more hours and the green light is on, erd is still off but I still hear slight humming. The red light is supposed to always stay on?
