Hi. Are there any other options for a sync cord other than the 15' one? I'd like to use one with a RF remote. Most of them require a 1/8" (3.5mm) mono jack, and 15' seems awkward to tie out of the way, when I only need a few inches. My web searches have proved fruitless. BTW, can anyone explain why this series requires a stereo plug? If it worked with mono, I'd have a million choices. V/R James |

The stereo (wired mono with the sleeve open) cable is a hold over from older lights as a precaution against unwanted behavior when connected to mains power with a bad ground. You should have no issues with a 1/8 to 1/4 cord for radio remotes. In fact, that is what we include in our CyberSync line. |
