Hi, does someone have a better version of the CC manual in .pdf than the one available on the website. This version was scanned in low res instead of printed directly in .pdf and is almost unreadable. |

I just downloaded as a test. It's not really hi rez, but pretty readable . If you ask customer service they will mail you a printed version . . . probably a lot easier for them than trying to create a higher rez to email or download |

I am not carrying my user's guides in the field, however I always keep an electronic copy of all my equipment manuals in my laptop in case I'm stuck with a stupid issue. I will probably end scanning my cc manual myself. It's sad have to scan a computer created print when it would have been so easy to generate a high quality low size version from the source. |

High quality and low size PDF are not mutually compatible. It's not difficult for us to produce a high rez pdf - but it does take a bit of time to get to it. But it won't be small. Surely, the download version if fully readable. |

the problem with your pdf is that everything is rasterized. Even the text. When you directly create the pdf from the source application, only pictures are embedded, the text will be encoded as postscript that will give you a high quality resolution, with a very low size file. That's the beauty of PDF. It also make the document searchable by keyword. I'll be happy to help you create them if you want. |

You're right - I know how to do this and agree. I'll pass this on to the webmaster. Got my engineering hat on this week. |
