I just purchased a white lightning x-1600 and x-800 monolite. Also ordered cybercommander. In going over the cybercommander manual, you are supposed to set the strobes for tracking to make sure the modeling lights and the flash are synchronized. However, the white lightening strobes do not have a tracking button like the Alien Bees. So how do you get them to track?????

there is a setting in the commander that adjusts both output of the flash and model lamp. This is under the heading of "Light Settings"
