About how hot would the fabric get in a large (36 by 42 inch) softbox with a 150 watt modeling light? Would it likely be over 200 degrees?

I am attempting to repaint the yellowing liner of my 20-year-old photoflex softbox with a rubber paint called plasti dip.

I contacted their offices and they said the product is rated to 200 degrees. They warned that the elasticity of the material would suffer and melt above that (they didn't say anything about combust though):

Quote:
Plast Dip can withstand temperatures ranging from -30 to 200°F, anything above or below these temperatures is not recommend because the product will lose its tensile strength and melt.

So it is likely that the inside fabric would reach above 200 degrees?

Thanks in advance.

It is not likely to reach 200 degrees on the fabric. However, the speed ring may get that hot, so if the fabric touches a hot speedring, the paint may fail.
