Help, Im new. Gonna order a beginner bee 800. If I want to shoot in the style of Show Magazine" or models on solid bright color background, will this work?

The samples i saw would require multiple lights, making the Beginner bee insufficient by itself. This is, however, a technical forum, more so than a sales and technique forum. Please feel free to contact Customer Service either by phone or e-mail (info in the signature) for more information on your lighting needs.

A single light will give you the choice of properly exposing the model or the background, but probably not both. You can, however, use a speedlight to expose the model, and then use the B800 (or whatever) to light the background. Be aware that the B800 will fire if it sees a pre-flash, so you won't be able to use TTL.
