The front claws won't retract on my Einstein after it's held a large softbox for years.
I'm up in Canada and shipping it back to Nashville for repair may not be cost effective.
Is it easy to open up the Einstein and fix the jammed claws?
Is there someone in Canada (I'm in Alberta) who's qualified to do repairs on Einstein lights?

Thanks!

That is an issue that will require the unit to be repaired by an authorized facility. We do have an authorized repair facility, Service Camera Pro, that can do limited Einstein repairs in Quebec. http://www.paulcbuff.com/canada_repair.php

However, I would also contact our repair facility in Nashville directly and discuss what the best option will be, as well as warranty status, etc.
