Hi Folks, I want to know if I can fire the Cyber Commander with an optical slave. If I plug an optical slave with no battery (such as a wein peanut or a sonia optical slave) into a cord that has a sub-mini 2.5mm jack on the other end that would go to the Cyber Commander, and set off a flash that the optical slave will see, will the Cyber Commander fire my Einsteins? |

Yes, I just tried this set up, and Cyber Commander, CST and CST2 all work via a slave eye on the hotshoe and a slave eye via the sync jack (CST and CC only). |

Hmm. The slave I used was one of our old SS1's, which we made in house. I'm not sure what the difference would be. I don't think I have another type to test with at the moment, but I will see what I can find. |
