What benefit(s) do I get out of using a high-capacity SD card in my Einsteins and CC?

There is no benefit in the capacity itself. However, early CC and E640's were only able to read Fat16 formatted cards. These are limited to 2GB cards and smaller. As the everyday need for more capacity drives up the card capacities, the availability of 2GB cards dwindles. In order to use 4GB or larger cards (i.e. cards that are actually available), you must update to the latest firmware. The latest firmware only allows the future use of SDHC cards (you still need a 2GB or smaller card to update) and improves dormant battery life on select Cyber Commander units.
