No, there will be no 220V version of this light. If a native 220V capable light is needed, I recommend our Einstein E640, as it is global voltage compatible.

Alternatively, you can use a Vagabond as a power source as they all can be charged globally. Or, you can use a magnetic transformer to step down the mains voltage.

Are the new db400/800 compatible with the pockewizard power mc2's yet? I have a few einsteins, and it would be nice to be able to re-use my receivers and transmitters with these new strobes.

Currently, the MC2 is not compatible, as best as we can tell.

Any changes that will make it work will likely come from PocketWizard, and any questions regarding these updates will need to be directed to them for the most accurate answers regarding their remotes.

The only receiver we can guarantee full remote compatibility with is our CSXCV transceiver in our CyberSync line.

Are the LED modeling lights color-matched with the Einstein halogen modelling lights? I'm interested in whether or not you can mix the two for video?

The DigiBee LEDs are daylight balanced, while the Einsteins are Tungsten. You can either gel the Einsteins with a CTB gel or the DigiBee lamp with a CTO gel in order to match them. I would be more inclined to gel the DigiBee, as a gel will reduce output, and the Einsteins are already less bright.

1) I assume the digibees can be triggered (not controlled) with ANY wireless trigger via the sync port, correct?

2) Since you now have a 75 watt LED (I assume a COB) modeling light, is the cooling fan decibel level higher, the same or lower than the original alienbee's? I ask for an obvious reason, the suitability for video lighting.

I would say similar, erring on the side of louder.

Hello from france. i'use 2 einstein , 4 alien bees and one AB800 actually!
my question is!
When do you think to upgrade or built an einestein or other model with the HSS? (High speed)
All the others brands sell studio flash with high speed synch now from one or two years!
So i must wait or change of brand? :D
