Hi, trying to setup the new DigiBees with Cyber Commander, and it seems the "SPEC LIGHTS" menu does not know about the new DigiBees. The closest option is to select "Alienbees", such as "AB 800" or "AB 400", but the maximum modeling lamp power of those is 250W, whereas DigiBees have a 400W modeling lamp.

So what is the recommended way of setting up DigiBees? Will auto-detecting them with "OPEN ALL FROM STUDIO" just do the right thing? Will the modeling lamp power ratios be automatically configured correctly if the studio has a mix of DigiBee 400 and DigiBee 800?

Thanks,

Adrian

Opening from STUDIO or opening from specific channels is the only way to define the DigiBees or Einstein.

Currently, Cyber Commander will still only be able to display 250W as maximum for any model lamp.

Regardless of the model lamp, displayed or actual, you will need to set the offset manually. In this case, you would set the model lamps to track, then in the MODEL menu screen, reduce the DB400 model lamp by -1.0f. Once set, this offset will remain as increase or decrease flashpower, more accurately representing WYSIWYG.

If you are mixing with other lights with 150-250W bulbs, then you will likely have to adjust the model lamps on multiple lights.
