Hi,
Is there a way to confirm the power of an Alien Bee?
I'm about to purchase a used AB, and would like to confirm that it is a B1600.
I've heard of people removing B400 decals and replacing them with B800 or B1600 decals, and selling them as such.
Thank you

Kimberly at PCB was kind enough to supply the answer:
"...If the serial number starts with a 4 or SY4 it is a B400, an 8 or
SY8 it is an 800, and lastly 16 or SY16 is a 1600 model..."
