Any recommendations for cleaning a medium softbox… that got sprayed by a cat?

I know it disassembles, wasn’t sure if it was safe to wash in a regular washing machine, or if there is a preferred method.

I guess it depends on where and how much is on the box. The shell of the box can probably be wiped off with bleach, I am not sure it could be machine washed.

If it is on the diffusion fabrics, and if they are our foldable boxes, I would just buy new diffusion panels. New panels are $7 to $17, dependign on size, and that is for both panels. You will need to call for these.

I'd try first treating the area with enzymatic pet urine eliminator (Wal-Mart or any pet store). Nothing but enzymatic formulae will work.

When that has dried, finish with Febrese animal urine deodorant. I'm pretty sure Febrese will someday be the cause of frogs growing third eyes, but right now it's the effective second step in cleaning up animal urine after it's been neutralized by an enzymatic cleaner.
