I got two B1600s and two B400s a month ago. Everything has been great until yesterday. Now one of the 1600s will ONLY operate at Full Power. No matter where I set the remote power or the power on the back of the light, it always fires at full power. I have turned it off several times, switched power and communication cord, I have made sure the flash tube is seated well... all to no avail. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance, Jim |

If you just got it I would send back to PCB to have a look at it. You might also try not connecting anything to the light except power. Power up the unit and move the slider to the far left (min power), then hit the red test button. If the unit still fires at full blast it must be returned for service. Good luck.. |

I would agree with the above poster. Only use the power cord and test button. If you start at full, then move to minimum, you will either need to fire once to dump excess energy or wait for the light to dump (red light will change to green). If on subsequent minimum power flashes, it fires at full power, then service will be required. Before you send it in, please contact Customer Service for assistance. |
