My high school is planning on buying a great system from Paul C. Buff...we have about 750.00 to spend. We want better GYM pictures..here is what we want to order:
1. x1600 Flash Unit (439.99)
2. 13 ft. Heavy duty stand (69.99)
3. Cybersync SRB+ (Battery Powered Trigger Receiver (89.99)
4. Cybersync CST Trigger Transmitter (59.99)

Is this setup all we need? Do we need something else to make this system work?

Depending on the type of shots or sports you're shooting you may want to consider some sort of modifier or reflector for the flash unit, as a barebulb would certainly work, but may be limiting. Whether a mid-size PLM for even light on smaller, tighter group sports like wrestling or a long-throw reflector for action sports like basketball that span the court might be things to consider. Just a thought! PCB Tech Support is also very helpful, so be sure to contact them!

The set up described is sufficient for a one light set up. As Liquid Rhino said, you may want to consider modifiers. However, setup reccomendations and sales questions are outside of the scope of this forum. Please contact our customer service department for further reccomendations.
