Hi
I have had my vagabond d for a little over a year so I've use it a few times. (5 times max)
when i charge it i get the red and green light when it's plugged into the wall after i unplug it the green light stays on for a few minutes and then goes dead.

I have tried charging over night and still nothing. is this quick fix with a new battery?

First, check the fuse(s). This will either be one fuse in-line on the red battery cable, or two fuses in the back of the VII, depending on the run of Vagabond you have. Even a bad battery should keep the green light on.
Second, when was the last time you used and/or charged the VII? If it has been a while, then the battery can sulfate. If the fuse is bad, even an attempted charge wouldn't count, so it may turn into a bad fuse and bad battery. Checking the fuse would be the first step.
