What is the weight limit on the Baby Boomer arm? |

The arm itself is rather robust. I doube you will find much that will damage it. There should be no problems with any of our modifier/light combos. Of course you should consider sandbagging the stands as the center of gravity is offset. |

One thing that puzzles me is why the Baby Boomer goes out, then up rather than the other way around. It would be more useful if it went up, then out ending perpendicular to the usual orientation on the top of the light stand. This would allow beauty dishes to be aimed down to a great extent, unlike the current design. |

I considered this, as well as 45°. Problem with horizontal is you can't aim a BD up or a Retro Laser or PLM down, plus the light can easily twist. But the design soesn't work too well with AB and BD because the AB mounting block is so far forward. Works great with Einstein and WL though. |
