I have both the Vagabond II and the Vagabond Mini. I'm now looking at the Vagabond Lithium Extreme.

QUESTION: How does it compare to the Vagabond II in terms of recycle time?

I use both with Vagabond II and the Mini with the Profoto Acute2 1200 power pack. Recycle time for 300 watts or so is ok with the Mini but it's really fast with Vagabond II. I'm looking for that or better with the Vagabond Lithium Extreme. Will I get that?

The VLX™ is faster than VII by about 20-25%. We're currently seeing about 7 seconds at 2400WS, 3.5 seconds at 1200Ws. I recall the VII took about 9-10 seconds at 2400Ws. Also, faster than BatPack from their specs, with much longer battery life and shots per charge.

We have just torture tested VLX™ units at 2560Ws fired every 10 seconds for 30 shots in a row - no problems.

Another question:
Is there any way I can trade in my Vagabond II and/or the Vagabond Mini and get an upgrade discount on the VLX?
