My cat mistook my two front diffusion fabric covers for its litter box, so now I have two soiled covers. :o (She is about 15 years old, so I can forgive her failing eyesight.) Are there any recommendations or special concerns regarding washing/cleaning, or is a general washing machine cleaning OK?

Use something gentle, like Woolite. Avoid bleach and any "whitening" soaps.
