Should I unplug the flashtubes and modeling lamps everytime that I travell? Or just putting the black cover plastic will be enough to protect it? Consider that I use Lowepro Computrekker Plus Rolling.

And also what is the best way for airline travel? Consider I use Hardcase with foam and checkin the hardcase to Special Baggage.

Thanks

The black cap should be enough, especially if using a hard case with foam. I would suggest always having at least one spare tube on hand in case something does happen. Also, it is not a bad idea to ensure the flash tube is fully seated before using the light after any suspected turbulent travel.
