Is it possible to setup the light power and so on with the Cyber Commander yet trigger those selections from the camera attached CST, or does the Cymber Commander need to be the trigger of choice? Just looking to keep the large obstructions off the top of the camera if possible. I can see setting the values with the CC, maybe leaving it mounted on a nearly stand and using the CST to do the actual work.

Absolutely. This is the preferred way to do it. Get a cell phone case to carry the CC around and leave the CST on your camera. If there is more than one shooter sharing your setup, each can have a CST on their camera with no problems. Plus the CST has more firing range than Cyber Commander due to the lack of protruding antenna on CC.
