My X3200's droop downward when beauty dishes, large soft boxes and other light modifiers are attached. I often juryrig counterweights to the rear of these monoblocs, but it is very awkward and inhibits shifting them around the studio during a shoot. Is there a way to adapt or strengthen the part that controls their pitch? |

I had one x1600 go droopy on me, I just either repositioned or removed the leather washer or replaced it with a metal one from Home Depot (cant remember) Either way tinker with them flip them around.... maybe the leather washer just worn out, got damp or something, or replace it with a rubber and metal ones from the hardware store. I take maine apart to ship them sometimes and may have just placed the washer/washers in the wrong spot... It only happened once and I cant remember what I did |
