Hi,
I would like to know if you are planing to upgrade the ABR 800 ring flash to make possible to use it with 220v. You've made this possible with the Einstein.
Please answer YES, so I can already book a plane from Paris to come and clean out your shop .
A least, could you accept to sell the einstein to europe?
Best regards
Patrick

We have nothing in the works for a 220V ringflash. For international ordering, please contact www.paulcbuff.com.au for your order.

I've been to the australian website, and I found there is 220v alienbees versions. So I was wandering if the ringflash will stay the only unit sticks in 110v?
But anyway, you said it's possible to use it with an inverter.
Best regards

Probably the preferred way to use the 120v units on 240v power is a 240/120 transformer. I read previously that a 3000 watt transformer would be plenty for multiple units.

Inverter will work as well but your recycle time would be faster with a transformer.

The ABR800 is 110 only. we do reccomend the transformer, please see the link below for more information. The VII can be used if necessary, but you should not use the model lamps, you will need to fire slower, and recycle times may lengthen (depending on number and types of lights)
